You are using the wrong package. It is highly likely that you're using custom lib path which contains old packages from your previous R version (see .libPaths). Please make sure you either use the default setup or if using custom setup you clean up your old packages (of install new ones in the right place).

Hmisc binary for R 2.5.x was built under R 2.5.1. Hmisc binary for R 2.6.0 was built under 2.6.0 - that's why there are separate directories for each R version.
