Thanks for everyone who answered my query.

I put an extra line in AUTOEXEC.BAT to specify the R_HOME variable.
And the Rdconv command works perfectly if I execute the AUTOEXEC
from DOS prompt. However, if I execute the AUTOEXEC from inside windows
system the command does not work.
