hello,

I would like to build a classification tree, with the formula x~y,
where x is a 22 levels factor, and y a numeric variable.

I use rpart (R) or tree (Splus) function, but I would like to know how I
can do to force the tree to have exactly 22 terminal nods, one for each
level.
