Didn't think to download current version?

netCDF_1.0-1 for R <= 1.1.1
netCDF_1.1 for R >= 1.2.0

Please do not send bug reports to R-bugs and R-help: the first
set goes to R-devel too which means that the active developers see it
twice (and are probably twice as likely to ignore it, as I will next time).
