The XEmacs port to windows is quite nice, has an installer which
handles package additions (much like R's), and I love XEmacs dearly,
since its interface looks far more "professional" (this is a loaded
and ill-defined word, I realize)
BUT
ESS doesn't work for process communication on it (yet).
It's on the todo list, now that I've actually got a laptop with win2k
on it.
