[R] MDA: package "class" not found ?!?

hi all,

when i try the mda-example i got the following error:
"There is no package called `class'"
when i invoke the following line:
irisfit <- mda(Species ~ ., data = iris)

on CRAN i cannot find such a package.
can you help me?
i'm using the windows-version 1.2.1.
