Note that Emacs/ESS works for both SAS and R/S-PLUS. It's one of the
more useful/amusing features, IMHO. The Literate Statistical Practice
tools for Emacs/ESS (a take-off on literate programming with Noweb)
allow you to write code for both SAS and R from the same "document"
(literate programs combine source code as well as commentary; I'll
refrain from calling it documentation, since it ought to be more in
this context).
