Subject: R-beta: packages/libraries vs sourcing it in
I have a collection of functions in a file kernel.r and right now I just
source the file in when I want to use those functions. I was wondering if
it would make sense to turn kernel.r into a package. If so, what is the
advantage over sourcing it in? I couldn't find detailed info in the docs
(Venables's tutorial or in the R help--I looked up library()) for creating
a package.
Thanks very much for any help.
