Very short (my time constraint) answer:

Yes, you can easily do anova (as in your "STAT" example)
by
	lm.res <- lm( .....)
	anova(lm.res)
> ?lm
and
> demo(lm.glm)
should get you started.

No, the post-hoc tests ("Tukey" et al) are not yet available in R ("base").
Maybe in a contributed package ?
