Hi Jim,

I find with my toy examples that this is a bit better
 sqrt(diag(solve(out$hessian))*2*out$minimum/(length(y)-2))
                                                        ^
                                                     # params (2 for line)
So for least squares you need factor
2*MSE
in there.
