Seems reasonable. HP-UX (be nice, please :-)) does provide a flag in
its F77 to add underscores (is there anything else they do weird in
Fortran?) so if you like to use underscore names and are compilingyour
own fortran you're OK. If you also want to be able to support calling
precompiled libraries, they will probably have been built without
underscores.

Have you thought about using native BLAS if it is available?
