Subject: R-alpha: R 0.12 alpha: problem with qt()

Hi,

I recently noticed the following problem (R version is 0.12 alpha,
system is Debian GNU/Linux 1.1.x): for some combinations of x and df,
qt(x, df) never returns.

E.g.,
	qt(.99, 10) never returns,
but
	qt(.99, 9) and qt(.99, 11) are fine.

Or,
	qt(.9, 100) and qt(.9, 90) never return,
but
	qt(.9, 99) and qt(.9, 101)
do.

Can anyone reproduce that problem?

Thanks,
-k
