Not there on R0.11/Linux (ix486/2.0.23/libc5.4.7) either. Anyone with
.12 on Linux? It might be a hardware/kernel/library problem. What's
your version of those?

(I postponed the install of .12 for so long that with all the bugs
accumulated I thought I might as well wait for .13. We need a faster
bugfix procedure (.12.1 , .12.2, .... + patch files))
