1. I am seriously considering replacing GLIM with R on PCs for
teaching next year. I would have done this long ago with S but for the
lack of log facilities so that the students have a complete transcript
of what they do. (On UNIX, with a tee, this is easy.) Will the PC
version of R have a log option??
2. Just for the record, Philippe Lambert's line example crashes my
trusty old aout Linux (Slackware) as wel (first time in over a year of
service...)
3. It may also be of interest that my son has R working on an Amiga
under Elf-Linux without any major problems.
