This is very bad news to me.  I was really glad to hear that you had
previously made contour, persp, image, etc your priorities.

Multivariate would be on the absolute BOTTOM of my list.  Anything
graphical would be a much higher priority to me.

BUT since I currently don't have a usable unix system and therefore use
Mac, who knows when I will actually be able to do these things (since the
Mac version seems to be stuck in limbo).  That is, even if the graphics
were on the top of the list, I wouldn't be able to use it anyway, since I
am running R on Mac.
