For me, to the contrary,

I was actually delighted to hear about the 'multivariate' plans.
If I had made any comment it was that I would also have liked the 

	'mclust' and some of Rouseeuw's cluster programs
	        (yes those in Splus 3.4 (which are available as Fortran))
in the cluster part.....
