C program code

The starship is a computer intensive fitting method appropriate for families of distributions based on transformations. Our paper introduces this method for the generalized lambda distribution.

C programs to fit the generalized lambda distribution are available in this directory. This page remains for historical purposes. I recommend you use the gld package for R instead.

I would be very interested to hear people's experiences in using the programs.
