Yup, it's a bug. Cc'ed to r-bugs so that we don't forget.

> is.recursive(list(1,2))
[1] FALSE
> is.recursive(pairlist(1,2))
[1] TRUE

[maybe Martin would want to add a check that is.whatever works
identically on lists and pairlists. Not is.pairlist, though...]
