I've often thought that some sort of synonym dictionary would be useful,
especially for new users. That is, give the name of some procedure, say
in Matlab, SAS or SPSS, or even a statistical term, and get information
about possible procedures to consider in S/R (and the other way around
too). I think this might be much more broadly useful than just for R, so
I wouldn't tie it too closely to R help() or CRAN.
