[R] retrieving gbif data

Hi,
I am trying to use the "gbif" function in the "dismo" package and it does not seem to work. I get the same error message every time: Error in if (sp) geo <- TRUE : argument is not interpretable as logical It does not matter whether I query for my species of interest or if I copy and paste those included in the help for the function or the vignette of the package.
I am not sure whether it is because I am doing something wrong, although I am inclined to think there is a bug in the "gbif" code. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Rafa
