Each? This only applies to a few packages, and is only a warning.

Most likely you need to install libiconv and rebuild R: Solaris's (I think you mean Solaris 9 or SunOS 5.9) iconv is not adequate for recent versions of R (in particular, for UTF-8 locales or packages).
