[R] pass additional parameters to function

Hi,

I have a function like this:

f <- function(f1) { ...}

f1 is a function name itself.
I have two candidates for f1, and each of them have different numbers of arguments, say
f2 has 2 while f3 has 3.

then my question is, how to write f function so that I can pass different funcation names with different number of parameters?

thanks.
