Hi,
I would suggest to use lme for doing that: library(nlme)
vf1Ident <- varIdent( c(m = 0.5), form = ~ 1 | group ) fm.lme <- lme(data ~ group, weights = vf1Ident. data = DATA) anova(fm.lme)
