Thanks for your advice. Seems to have been a quirk in the installation of R2HTML which is now resolved.

Are you sure your version of R2HTML is up-to-date and built under R 2.5.0? Use update.packages(checkBuilt=TRUE) if you have not already done so.

That got me R2HTML 1.58, not 1.54.
