[R] grouped and stacked plot

Dear R users,

Beside lattice and vcd packages, what is my option if I want to create a grouped and stacked categorical plots?

With lattice, what I usually do is breaking my data from a wide form to a long form (using subset and rbind), such as:

TypeID - Var 1 - Var 2 - Var 3 - Val

to

TypeID+Var1 - Val
TypeID+Var2 - Val
...

therefore, if I use auto.key = TRUE, I will have permutation as Type* Number of Vars.

I think I have to use similar process with vcd as well, using doubledecker or mosaic plot.

Or, is there a different way/setting to create grouped and stacked using lattice or vcd that I am not accustomed (which is very like, since I am such as newbie with R, much less with R-graphics).

Any idea is appreciated,

Thanks,

Ferry
