[R] RES: memory limit

It depends of the number of the variables. If you are using 2 or 3 variables you can do some things.

I should you read about ff package and ASOR packages they manage the dataset to do some kind of IO.

I'm currently working with very large datasets that consist out of 1,000,000 + rows. Is it at all possible to use R for datasets this size or should I rather consider C++/Java.
