After plotting how can you get the x and y limits of the plot? I would
like to do something like:

  plot(x);
  plot.area <- plot.get.area();
  xlim <- plot.area$xlim;
  ylim <- plot.area$xlim;

Is there a "plot.get.area()" method? I need it to place my legends.

Thank you!

Henrik Bengtsson
