[R] Sun Solaris install error

Hi.

I am trying to install R-2.1.0 under a Sun platform.

I used tar and then when I type

./configure MAKE=gmake I get the following error:

configure: error: --with-readline=yes (default) and headers/libs are not available

I would appreciate any help and suggestions.
