Thanks for your response. Maybe I did not explain the behavior well. I am aware that the "Not Responding" is a windows default. What I was trying to explain is that once the process that generated the Not Responding is finished and I can use R for othe computations the "Not Responding" caption will remain in the task bar icon but not in the caption on the main Gui form. Please see the attached screen caption for an example.
