Hi Bahoo!

I've found the R/Rpad Reference Card quite good at helping me find this sort of information... i.e. towards the bottom of the first column of the first page it says...

save(file,...) saves the specified ojects (...) in the XDR platform independent binary format

if I then say ?save it tells me that ?load is what you're looking for at another date...
