yes, that has been a bug in R 2.1.0
but then, you know, there has been

 R 2.1.0 "patched"
 R 2.1.1
 R 2.1.1 "patched"

all of which had this buglet corrected.

Why don't you first upgrade, particularly from a x.y.0 version?
