There can be problems with mirrors from time to time - indeed there have been discussions on this list recently of one such case.

However, in this instance, my comments were based on me not noticing that the rpm in the Redhat EL4 directory was still at 2.1.1 (where as Martyn has updated all the other rpms to 2.2.1) and you not specifying which flavour of Redhat you were enquiring about.
