What are methods for identifying the right distribution for the dataset? As far as I know Fisher test (p > alpha) for stat. significance or min(square error) are two criteria for deciding. What are the other alternatives? - CONFIDENCE INTERVAL?. If any, how can I accomplish them in R.

  Thanx in advance.
