[R] Aligning ragged text columns

Just a follow-up,

by giving names with variable amounts of white space, I could make the column and rownames
invisible (although this is probably abusing the mechanisms, however, this is only for
display purposes, I suppose).

dd <- data.frame(c1 = c("Heading 1", "", "Heading 2", ""), c2 = c("This is some info", "about heading 1", "This is some info", "about heading "))

names(dd) <- c(" ", " ")
rownames(dd) <- c(" ", " ", " ", " ")

dd

Heading 1 This is some info
                        about heading 1
Heading 2 This is some info
                         about heading
