It breaks also every usage of the google feeling lucky default behaviour which is really useful I think.
There are R related firefox search plugins on mycroft. Find more info on that on the wiki :

You just have to type (*) [Ctrl]+[K] to go to the search textbox (and maybe [Alt]+[Up])
instead of [Ctrl]+[L] that leads to the location textbox and if you do it with the mouse, it's not too far away neither



(*) the keyboard shortcuts may not be these one on your configuration
