DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS & ACTUARIAL SCIENCE UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA The Department of Statistics & Actuarial Science at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning August 8th, 2007. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Statistics or related area by date of hire and demonstrated or potential for excellence in teaching and research. Preference will be given to those with expertise in Data Mining (and a willingness to teach in this area) but those with expertise in other areas of statistics are encouraged to apply.
