What is the correct procedure for linking a dynamically loaded function
that uses routines from libf2c that are not in the `lite' version in
src/applc? Quite a lot of FORTRAN programs seem to need pow_ii, for
example.

I have been working with Alan Genz's adaptive integration routine and when
I compile it with R's built-in f2c.h and libf2c and a copy of pow_ii.c I
get the right answers (ie same as in S) but when I use g77 or f2c and the
system f2c.h and libf2c I get substantially lower accuracy (though
still the 'right' answer)

This is running g77 version 0.5.20, Debian 2.0.29, gcc 2.7.2.1 and
R0.49patch2

Any ideas?
