On a return from a call to a dynamically loaded Fortran program in a
library, R0.61.2 gives an error about an unimplemented feature in
duplicate and promptly core dumps. I have not yet traced down what
from the Fortran is being duplicated but it would be nice if it gave
the message without crashing. (I am porting the Survival Kit which is
about 30,000 lines of Fortran to put in my event history library. It
does gamma and (multivariate) normal frailties with Cox and Weibull
models and is used primarily by animal breeding people, developed in
France and Austria.)
