this list has been pretty quiet, lately,
have you all been waiting for a new release ?

Given the current bandwidth crisis on the internet (at least here),
maybe the following should even make it's way into the README
or a new 'MIRRORS' file  when version 0.5 will come out:

The R distribution site is DAILY mirrored to the following places.
Therefore, choose a site near you in order to save international bandwidth:
