	cd src
	make help

will produce complete online help in "nroff" form.

That one IS available w/o html/netscape/....  by using


Even more comfortable is the  Emacs R-mode (S-mode + some hacks)
			      -----         ------
where you can use  C-c C-v
to have each help(.) answer in it's separate buffer.
You can directly "send" Examples from the help buffer to the running R,....
