Subject: R-alpha: R-0.9alpha

Is now available from stat.auckland.ac.nz and should show up soon at
mirror sites. From the changes file:

1. Digamma, trigamma, tetragamma and pentagamma functions added.

2. Cleanup of model contrast code. The default contrast for
unordered factors is now contr.treatment. Contrasts can now
be specified on a per-factor basis. There is no C function yet.

3. The coefficients associated with factors obtained from lm and
glm are now aomewhat more sensible.

4. The value returned by assignments with non-symbol left-hand
    sides is now correct.

5. A version of NextMethod has been implemented.

In addition many buglets have been fixed.
