(discontinuity ...)

I have just got back the office and am wading through a mound of
e-mail - mainly from people on this list.

The two major problems with 0.10 R seem to be that

    1.	The directory $RHOME/src/lib did not make it into the 0.10
	distribution. The quick fix (as a number of people have
	pointed out) is to make this directory by hand.

    2. The routines which do runtime linking were not linked in
	the load statement for Linux. The real solution is for
	everyone to run FreeBSD :-), but adding -ldl to the load
	line in $RHOME/src/Systems/Linux to obtain

		# Libraries to Load Against
		LIBS= -L$(X11BASE)/lib -lX11 -lm -ldl

	will do trick.

	If you have a version of Linux which does not support dlopen
	and friends (non-elf systems?) do not make the change above
	but instead remove the line

		#define DLSupport

	from the file $RHOME/src/Systems/Linux.h

I think that these changes should get the majority of systems going
so that people can discover the other bugs present.

There have been a number of other problems which were reported and I
will look in more detail at the reports on them. My strategy is to
try get a 0.11 release out quickly to fix as many problems as
possible, rather than making up individual patches for problems.
