I don't get that. I get a set of vertical lines of different types,
drawn extrememely slowly. Doesn't look right, but doesn't crash
server. Signal 8 is SIGFPE, which should be either caught or disabled
by X. Are you using an old libm?

As Kurt said: Good idea. The mirroring is most likely already
automatic. Only work involved is putting the uploaded stuff in the
proper place. This probably requires human intervention because of
hackers and warez-doodz. Sooner or later, we'll need a procedure for
deleting files and maybe for moving them temporarily to a
"not-currently-working" directory.
