  1. You do not tell us your OS (presumably Windows, but what sort?)
  2. There is a file called in the top-level directory of the installed package. Please read it, by e.g.

   You will need to customize the batch files in the scripts directory    for your installation. The example files there work for mine.

and it seems you did not do so, and I suspect you have also not set up XGobi.

Using XGobi under Windows is tricky, and these days using GGobi is easier and stabler.
